Why are there so many damn livejournal posts this morning? What the hell is wrong with all of you?

I've always hated humes. Bangaas are best. Viera are next. I suppose those fat ugly Seeqs are next. At least they're supposed to be fat, unlike those fat humes. Can't stand them. Even without NORG's insistence, I side with the wolves. Vampires whine more than humes. Not to mention weak. The undead are weak. Weak against everything. Weak against holy. Weak against fire. Weak against white mages. What kind of self-respecting being is weak against a white mage!? Pathetic. Werewolves are weak against nothing. They fear nothing. And they look better shirtless....or so I hear. Wolves will win. And I will help to ensure that. We will gnaw at their necks until their heads fall off. And if decapitation doesn't kill them, then at least we can take their heads and throw them in the lake.

Does all of this garbage happening here make anybody else want some Rabanastre Fried Chocobo? I hate these birds! GAH! There again! Keeps bumping into me while I type! I'm trying to edit and manage the latest hunt, but the damned chocobos keep bumping into me, pecking me, and do not get me started on the droppings! Not to mention all the store repairs that need to be made!

Mr. Orlandu is relatively busy organizing tournaments and such, so whenever I speak with him about things he just says "fine" or "whatever" or "stop biting the chocobo" so I've decided I'll just organize this hunt without his permission. I suppose it'll actually be a series of hunts, but either way, it's difficult to prepare with these damned things in the way. Even in my apartment. I try to sleep and then KWEH! And no matter how many shoes I throw at it, it just continues to KWEEEEEH!

Ugh....

Damned bombs. I was just speaking to Mr. Orlandu earlier this week about a job at The Arena. He gave me a really long examination and did a thorough background check and, finally, he accepted. Then this week happens, so my job has yet to be even the slightest bit official. Mr. Orlandu has been working hard, trying to get The Arena ready to work again, but he was so busy with his store that he didn't notice all the bombs and monsters and everything that has gone on.

A lot of the monsters he was keeping have escaped their cages and returned to the wild. Mr. Orlandu gave an ultimatum of "over my dead body" and so, he fought the monsters. Most were defeated, though he had to resort to killing some, but then the wall behind him exploded. He had no chance. I was coming back over to drop off some papers and I saw him go down. I pulled him to safety and locked up his store, but it was too late. The bomb broke the wall and monsters have been escaping since.

I put Mr. Orlandu in the contamination area, which was at the time completely empty. Figured he'd like to recuperate. Still, I'm just hoping he remembers our deal......

I couldn't care less about this war situation we're in. We'll get through it. I suppose I might just have faith that Chaos and Cosmos aren't going to be complete retards for a full week.....

Today I got my check from temping. It was a nice paycheck, and I worked extremely hard to earn that money. I had a great time getting possessed by a meanie spirit at the shoe store and picking up after nice people at Sphere Theater. But now, I must say, I had too much money! I paid my rent and utilities and as I was going out to buy a new bed, since mine is really uncomfortable, I realized, "Hey, there are starving people out there with no beds." And with that in mind, I donated all of my paycheck to NORG's Underprivileged Youths with No Money, or NORGUYNM for short.

Just thinking about what they can do with the remains of my minimum wage paycheck makes me feel such pride, joy, and happiness. It's too bad I have no food left, but I'll be fine! I think that other people will come through and help me when I'm down. Yes, strangers sometimes have the most kindness, and depending on them is sometimes the nicest thing you can do to say, "Hey, I appreciate other people."

With this in mind, I am also allowing four homeless people to share my small apartment.

Life is great.

I hate that wench Lani. She's a terrible boss and I knew she'd one day run her business into the ground. I just did not expect it to be so soon. And so, I am only working one job again....temping. I hate temping. Some of the people around here are such terrible people that run terrible businesses. But I always had my Hunt Board at The Grind that made me feel like I was doing more than warming a seat.

Mr. Orlandu: I have a proposal for you. I would like to request a job at your Arena. It would not only be hiring me for whatever menial tasks you may have, but I would also like the opportunity to bring over my Hunt Board and maintain it at your store. We already had a business deal worked out between The Grind and your store, so now we would be skipping the worthless middle-woman. What say you? I only need work Part Time, though a Full Time position would be greatly appreciated. As per our previous agreement, all Hunt Marks will be brought down and kept to use for training here at The Arena.

At last! The Arena is in full swing, and I could not be happier. I've been a prisoner of my own boredom as of late. Even a "dangerous" bus ride with Chaos did not fully awaken me, as the ride was relatively....boring. I gunned down enemies, but guns are such an impersonal weapon. I miss my gangsaw. Nothing like pinning a man down under your motored blade and listening to him scream for mercy. That is personal.

Next round I face the boy that likes to punch things. He'll be my greatest foe, I believe. Beyond that, I believe I will face the armored former champion: Steiner, though I would like to face Jecht. He has a tactic similar to mine with an all-out offensive. It would be a bloodbath I would look forward to. But first, he must beat Steiner and I must beat Loz.

I feel alive again! Now if I could just get Balthier in the ring....
